Raw Photographs II

The second batch of photographs is below, though Schwitters is delaying posting the rest of the first batch for some reason. Anyway, this is day two of taking pictures; we're moving further down the road, still southeasterly. In those first few you'll see an historical marker. Those are, in fact, bullet holes. It seems someone wasn't a fan of the New Deal. We have a couple of miles left--we only took one camera this time, so we didn't cover as much ground--including some pretty interesting stuff around the city's state house and university. Like before, if you want to see the album of the photographs here, click on the slideshow.

1. I liked the one with the sign abuot american photography.
2. I like the one of the water pipe on the bridge.
3. I think of the two of you Schwitters keeps his windshield cleaner, although the hood still looks dirty.
4. Did you stick with your plan stay on the road or are you really now getting out of the car more - making trips to parks that are slightly off the road?
5. I assume the clear pictures are Schwitters...
6. Still looking forward to more.
7. Seems like poetry would be coming by now...

Well, we never really planned on not getting out of the car at all--it's just that many of the pictures would be taken from the car.

And that's not that his hood is dirty--the paint is coming off.

And, for the record, I took some of the clear ones. My favorite, from this bunch, though, is the blurry "don't walk" hand.

Was that a clutch of turtles? Do turtles come in clutches?

That is a clutch of turtles; there were a gazillion of them out there.

And yes, they come in clutches, but I think it means "litter."

dog:litter::turtle:clutch.

I think they must be a pack or a herd if they're not all siblings.

Should we chose favorite photos? Isn't it helpful at halloween to have so many wig purveyors around?

I agree with the crosswalk. That is a cool shot. the crane reflection is also good. As you continue through the city, you could get some cool shots at the end of simon tree lane off belt line drive.

What's at the end of Simon Tree Lane?

Nevermind, Reversely...I just got it. Should have googled it first, eh? You're right--we should try and get something like that.

i just wanted to say hello. since i'm part of this blog. specifically, the inactive part. to explain my lack of pictures: i want to do them all at once, and a series of unfortunate events have prevented conversely and i from completing our journey. however, my hope is that is remedied this week - and then, for you most patient of readers, my far less interesting (if more focused) photos will slideshow their way into your heart. until that day...
