Here's the first batch of pictures we'll be using to make our list of titles. Pretty uninteresting now, but we'd like to document the entire process. Click on the slideshow to see the album. They run Northwest to Southeast. There are about a hundred more already taken that need to be uploaded and we have about five miles left to document.

As I realize this is a serious site, I will refrain from the normal witty banter - except of course for that opening line - and that one...
What is taking so long - I am ready for a title or two...

I don't think it could possibly take that long to glance at the pages. Maybe some RSS feeds would do you some good.
Well, I have to say that my very favorite shot is the Forest-closed-at-sunset shot. I am waiting breathlessly for the poem on that one. I'm glad my raccoons don't live there! Life for them starts at sunset, and I don't even think they can read.
